Indian Airways is set to launch its first flight to Iraq since 1990, and the first Indian aircraft to fly is in the international airport in Najaf on Thursday.
A statement by the Iraqi Ministry of Transport said and PUKmedia obtained a copy of it, "Thursday afternoon, will see the arrival of a plane from the Indian Airlines, through the gate of Najaf International Airport coming from New Delhi International Airport."
"The plane will open a line between Najaf and New Delhi, with two flights a week on Thursday and Monday," he said.
The media of the Najaf International Airport said in a statement, it is the first time in Iraq and since 1990, the national carrier of Indian air will land on the ground of Najaf International Airport.
