Mala Bakhtyar: change is the priority goal of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan

On Wednesday morning, February 13 of 2019, Mala Bakhtyar, chief responsible of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan has received the Iraqi Media Center. In a formal meeting, they discussed some considerable amount of local and political issues of the region. They described Mam Jalal’s role as significant for the great efforts he put for Iraq and Kurdistan.

 

Mala Bakhtyar explained Talabani's efforts that had not being bounded in one area and field. Despite he was the founder and secretary general of one of the main Kurdish political parties, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, he had participated in developing Kurdistan Iraq, politically, economically, and financially with a patriotic heart.

 

Mala Bakhtyar pointed out that Talabani was having great expectation. For example, he expected the Arab Kandaw’s war in the book of “Kurdistan, and the Kurdish National Movement” in 1976, the actual war happened 14 years later. Talabany had a great role after Iraq liberation in 2003. However, his death and leaving was a great sadness for Iraq and Kurdistan that left his influence politically, and economically after him. Mala Bakhtyar also explained that he is one of his students that had the chance of working with him for more than 35 years.

 

At the end of Mala Bakhtyar’s meeting with Iraqi Media Center explained PUK’s current position, role in their participation in the formation of Iraq’s new cabinet as strong locally in the region and generally with Iraq.
