Kuwait organizes a festival in the Kurdistan Region

As part of the 28th anniversary of the liberation of Kuwait, in the presence of officials of the Kurdistan Regional Government and many consuls of Arab and foreign countries, the first sports and artistic festival of the State of Kuwait was held in Erbil province, with the participation of a group of Iraqi artists.

 

The General Consulate of the State of Kuwait organized a sports and technical festival in Erbil at the end of the seventh phase of the rehabilitation of the disabled and the rehabilitation of the disabled victims of terrorism and liberation battles with the participation of senior Iraqi artists including Yas Khzr and Hamid Mansur.

 

The festival included sports games and recreational competitions with the participation of dozens of disabled people.

 

The Kuwaiti consulate continued its support for the displaced and victims of terrorism in this humanitarian campaign.

 

Four teams of disabled people participated in various sports and recreational activities. Kuwaiti Consul General Omar Al-Kandari expressed the continuity of these projects in a statement to reporters for supporting and assisting the displaced and victims of terrorism.

 

The participants in the sporting and artistic events expressed their happiness to participate in the festival, demanding that government agencies allocate pensions and provide the necessary health support for them.
