     A message from President Barzani to Veterans Forces and People of Kurdistan

“As a result of the current situation along the Kurdistan Region borders, and in order to defend our people and to safeguard the achievement of the people of Kurdistan, it is the duty of all the people of the Kurdistan Region to demonstrate their support to the peshmerga and security forces of Kurdistan,” said the President in a statement today.
The President called on all the veteran peshmerga to contact their former military units in support of the peshmerga forces.
He also called on all the people of Kurdistan to do whatever they can to support the Kurdistan peshmerga forces. He went on to assure the people of Kurdistan that the peshmerge forces will defend Kurdistan just as they have done in the past, and that there is a bright future awaiting Kurdistan.
