     Peshmerga forces repel ISIL attack

Peshmerga forces attacked today an attack launched by insurgents belonging to the so called the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant near a checkpoint between Mandali and Naftkhana areas in Khanaqin district, Hemn Mansur Spokesman of PUK Organization Centre in Khanaqin told PUKmedia.
The Peshmerga forces forced the ISIL insurgents to retreat, he added.
The attackers suffered heavy losses in the clashes with the Peshmerga forces, Mansur clarified.
