      Zaro TV to start broadcasting soon

KRG is going to inaugurate a children`s television channel called Zaro TV that will be in HD quality.

The channel will broadcast various local and foreign children shows such as Spongebob Squarepants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT), Avatar, iCarly and etc.

Regarding the system of broadcast, Halgurd Abudlwahab, Channel Manager, told PUKmedia, “the channel will broadcast on Nilesat and Turksat satellites as well as local broadcasting using digital systems.”

“Production of local shows and programs is being started since summer,” equipped Halgurd Abdulwahab, “we are waiting for our shows and programs to reach a total of 250 hours to start broadcasting officially.”

The new channel comprises local and foreign professional employees. Moreover, it has studios and branches to the channel in Sulaimani, Duhok, Dyarbakr, and soon another branch will be inaugurated in Kirkuk. Furthermore, the channel has its locally-made animated show, which is a relatively new thing in the area.
