UN report: 6.7 million Iraqis need international assistance



A UN report revealed that 6,700,000 Iraqis are in need of international humanitarian protection and assistance.

 

According to a report published by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, in 2019, 132 million people will need protection and international humanitarian assistance in 42 countries around the world. According to forecasts, aid will only Reach 93 million of them.

 

On the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, which falls on August 19 each year, attention is being paid to the situation of countries and peoples in need of humanitarian assistance around the world.
