PUK: We insist on defining crimes against Yezidis internationally



The Nineveh Organizations Center of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan confirmed, on Tuesday, the insistence on the definition of crimes committed against the Yazid Kurds as genocide.

 

Ghayath Al-Surchi, Head of the center’s media office, said in a special statement to PUKmedia that since the liberation of Shingal (Sinjar) from the ISIS terrorist organization, the PUK continues to put pressure on the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi government to help the Shingal people and bring them back to their homes and reconstruct the city.
