KRG Council of Ministers Meets to Discuss Oil Exports, Revenues and Salaries

The Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) Council of Ministers is set to convene its regular meeting today, Wednesday, to review a number of key issues.

In a statement obtained by PUKMEDIA, the KRG Department of Media and Information announced that discussions will cover the latest developments on the resumption of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region, non-oil revenues, and the salaries and financial entitlements of regional employees.

The statement further noted that the Council will also deliberate on efforts to unify financial procedures between the KRG and the federal government, in line with the minutes of the meeting held on 9 July 2025 between representatives of both sides concerning procedures, instructions, and fee rates.

Finally, the Council will turn its attention to preparations for the start of the new academic year 2025–2026 in the Kurdistan Region.
