PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani meeting leaders from different political parties

For the benefit of the populace, Bafel Jalal Talabani, the president of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), continues to push for political harmony in both the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) recently hosted a meeting in Dukan town in the Sulaimani governorate, which was attended by twenty political organizations from the Kurdistan Region. functioning as a forum for the fusion of all political forces once more.

PUK is convinced that through being together, they may overcome national problems

According to PUKMEDIA's interview with PUK Leadership Council member Dilpak Tahir, President Bafel's message is a part of the philosophy that PUK has used throughout its conflict and that it has inherited from Mam Jalal.

She stated further, “Kurds will suffer greatly if they lack unity, according to PUK, which believes that only through unity can national concerns be satisfactorily resolved”.

“The most crucial of the PUK's objectives in its appeal to the Kurdish parties are to respect their political fight and will, as well as to find a path through the parties to secure the lives of the people”, according to Tahir.

Political parties work together to address the issue

In an interview with Miqdad Sheikh Bahadin for PUKMEDIA, a member of the organization's leadership council, it was stated that "Once again, Mam's house in Dukan became a gathering place for most political parties in the region, and President Bafel hosted an important meeting to discuss the most recent developments and cooperation to resolve the region's crisis in order to correct the course of governance in a way that serves the people of all cities and towns in the region without discrimination."

The PUK has consistently taken the lead in promoting unity

Bahadin noted that previous meetings in Dukan had favorable outcomes and a shared political perspective.

For the benefit of our people's struggle, the PUK "has a feeling of historical responsibility and awareness of the situation and has always been an instigator for discussions and unification among the Kurds," he stated.
