Soil samples from 22 cities in North Kurdistan presented to Khak Gallery

On Saturday, an all-female delegation from the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) visited Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmad, administrator at the political bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), and presented samples of the land of 22 cities of North Kurdistan (Southeast of Turkey) to the Khak Gallery of Kurdish intellectual, writer and politician Ibrahim Ahmad.

During the meeting, the visiting delegation conveyed their thanks to Mrs. Hero Ibrahim Ahmad through Mrs. Shanaz for her support in the national struggle and reaffirmed that they will keep Mrs. Hero's efforts alive in the history of the contemporary national struggle.

In a speech, Mrs. Shanaz explained the idea and purpose of the project to the guests and pointed out that the project shows the sacred land of different cities and regions of the homeland that are all arranged together to show that Kurdistan is one land. She also expressed her gratitude to KNK delegation for bringing samples of the holy land of the cities of North Kurdistan to the gallery.

For their part, the KNK delegation expressed their admiration for the project and thanked Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmad for building a great national project and enriching the gallery.

The Khak gallery titled "I will not exchange an atom of the homeland's soil for the Caesar's Palace" is an exhibition to show samples of the soil of different cities and regions of Kurdistan, each with its color, shape, and smell. The project is an expression of the sacredness of the homeland and it is one of the wishes of the intellectual Ibrahim Ahmed who spent his life serving the Kurds and Kurdistan.
