On Thursday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) revealed terrorist pockets in Al-Hasakah prison, stressing that they will deal with them firmly if they do not surrender.
SDF said in a statement, “After controlling the industrial prison by our forces and imposing the surrender of about 3,500 arrested mercenaries who participated in the last insurrection and hundreds of them joining the mercenaries who attacked the prison from outside, our forces began a thorough combing campaign, with a security and military survey in the prison dormitories in which the mercenaries who attacked the prison and carried out terrorist operations against our forces were barricaded."
"During the process, our forces uncovered hidden terrorist pockets within the northern dormitories of the prison, where several mercenaries are expected to number between 60-90 mercenaries holed up in it and trying to maintain a distance for the engagement. Our forces issued a call for the safe surrender and will deal with them firmly if they do not surrender," SDF added.
