Qubad Talabani urges to join hands in serving public interest

Qubad Talabani, KRG's Deputy Prime Minister, condemned the criminal act that targeted the headquarters of the Iraqi parliament speaker in Anbar Governorate. 

Qubad Talabani said in a statement:

We strongly condemn last night's criminal act that targeted the headquarters of Mr. Muhammad Al-Halbousi, Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament in Anbar.

We affirm our disapprobation of such criminal acts. However, resorting to these actions is a dangerous phenomenon and does not bode well, so everyone should be cautious while working to deter such malicious intentions that aim to destabilize the security situation in Iraq and disrupt its stability.

We also remind everyone that the Iraqi people are waiting for the formation of a government of services that is capable of maintaining security and thwarting conspiracies, so everyone must join hands and work to serve the public interest.
