SOHR: 124 terrorists were killed in the clashes between security forces and ISIS terrorists

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) revealed an increase in the number of hostages liberated by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) from ISIS terrorists in Ghweran prison in the Syrian city of al-Hasakah.

In an interview with PUKmedia, SOHR director, Rami Abdel Rahman, said that the Syrian Democratic Forces managed on Tuesday to liberate 17 people from the military and workers in Ghweran prison.

He explained that most of them had appeared in a video clip broadcast by ISIS terrorist organization previously, indicating that the number of liberators rose to 32 people and the liberators from the prison confirmed that the terrorists who attacked Ghweran prison were mostly Arab and foreign nationalities.

Abdul Rahman confirmed that SDF and the rest of the security forces in al-Hasakah will continue searching operations in the dormitories of Ghweran prison, Al-Zohour neighborhood, and other areas in the vicinity of the prison.

He indicated the continuation of clashes between the two sides, revealing that a high number of terrorists were killed, reaching 124, and 50 members of the Security forces, prison guards, anti-terrorist forces, and members of SDF, as well as 7 civilians, were martyred.
