Akre district records a large number of tourists in 2021

In 2021, more than 400 thousand tourists visited the Akre district, and the majority of the tourists were from the south of Iraq.
Vahel Fahmi, Media Director of Akre's Tourism Directorate, told PUKmedia, "In 2021, more than 400.000 tourists visited the tourism areas of Akre, and %65 were Arab tourists from South of Iraq."
"Even in this cold weather, tourists still visit Akre," he added.
Fahmi declared, "As the directorate, this is the first time that we have recorded such a large number of tourists, which benefits the restaurants, hotels, and tourism destinations, and it is also a good income for the district."
