Qubad Talabani: Terrorist ideology must be eradicated

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, issued a statement, against the background of the martyrdom of a group of heroic Peshmerga in a terrorist attack on Saturday night.

Statement text:

"Once again, ISIS terrorists carried out a cowardly attack on the Peshmerga forces in the Kulajo border. Unfortunately, the attack led to the martyrdom of a group of heroic Peshmerga who joined the honorable convoy of martyrs. With this tragedy, I send my condolences to the families of the martyrs, and I wish a speedy recovery for the wounded.

This terrorist act proves that the dangers of terrorist organization still exist, so the concerned parties from the Peshmerga, the Iraqi army and the international coalition forces must coordinate more to eliminate these dangers and the infiltration of ISIS militants. We affirm that it is very necessary to work to eradicate terrorist ideology.

Salute to the pure souls of the constellation of martyrs last night and all the martyrs of the Kurdistan liberation path.
