Iraq suffers a heavy loss in match with South Korea

The Iraqi national football team lost against its South Korean counterpart during the match that was held on  Tuesday in the Asian qualifiers for World Cup 2022.

The match ended with 3 goals, scored by Lee Jae-sung in the 33rd minute, Heung-min Son from the penalty spot in the 70th minute, and finally Jeong Woo-young in the 80th minute of the match.

The South Korean team rose to first place with 14 points, behind it is the Iranian counterpart with 13 points with an incomplete match, in third place is the UAE team with 6 points, and then Lebanon with 5 points.

The Iraqi team is ranked fifth with only 4 points, followed in last place by Syria, with two points, with an incomplete match.
