Olympic champion visits Slemani

Olympic wrestler Sabah Shari'ati, who plays for the Azerbaijan team and is of Kurdish origin from Iranian Kurdistan, will visit the city of Slemani for a few days.
Shari'ati won third place among 19 players in the 130 kg weight category at the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil and won the Bronze Medal.
Shari'ati said in a special statement to PUKmedia that the trip will be for a few days and it is decided that to also visit Erbil city.
Sabah Shari'ati, 27, born in the Iranian Kurdish city of Sanandaj, has been a wrestler for more than 10 years and has traveled to live in Azerbaijan several years ago.
He is ranked the best player on his team in Azerbaijan.
