Iraq announces 1,537 new cases of Covid-19, 32 deaths

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 1,537 new coronavirus cases on Monday, raising the total number to 2,047,811 in the country.

The Ministry also said that 32 more people died from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 22,993.

2,588 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 1,989,166 in Iraq, the ministry added.

The new cases were recorded after 21,068 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 5,621,027 citizens.
