Kurdistan 02:33 PM - 2021-10-11
On Monday, the Erbil High Elections Committee of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan rejected the election results, confirming fraud in the voting process.
During a press conference, the committee said that Erbil's elections results were tampered with, confirming its total rejection of the elections process in Erbil.
The manipulation of voters' votes included four electoral districts, and the committee has evidence that proves the transfer of ballot boxes outside the polling stations.
The committee indicated that they had submitted a complaint to the Independent High Electoral Commission and are awaiting a response.
The committee also submitted that there are foreign hands behind the manipulation of the votes in Erbil and confirmed its full commitment to any decision issued by the Electoral Commission.
