Qubad Talabani: Voting for Kurdistan Coalition is voting for freedom of expression

On Thursday, a carnival was held in Duhok governorate to introduce the Kurdistan Coalition candidates, in the presence of the President of the Kurdistan Coalition, Qubad Talabani, the candidates, many PUK officials, and a large number of cadres, members and supporters of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

At the beginning of the festival, the candidates introduced themselves to the people, then the President of the Kurdistan Coalition, Qubad Talabani, gave a speech saying, "today we are in beloved Duhok, the city of the first martyr of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, the city that President Mam Jalal had an important role in its declaration as a city."

"Following in the footsteps of President Mam Jalal and Kak Nawshirwan, the PUK and Gorran formed the Kurdistan Coalition, and we want to send a strong, united and influential team to Baghdad to defend the rights of our people," Talabani added. 

"The Kurdistan Coalition is striving for the unity of the Kurdish people, and we want to go to  Baghdad united to fight for salaries, budget and constitutional rights of our people," Talabani stated.

"We are not afraid of dialogue in any way, and in this regard we have our experience in this regard," he continued.

Qubad Talabani also said, "our cadres in the Badinan region are oppressed, so for the sake of freedom of expression, we must all strive for the success of the Kurdistan Coalition as voting for the Kurdistan Coalition is voting for freedom of expression."
