Bafel Talabani, Prashant Pise discuss bilateral relations

On Tuesday, Bafel Talabani, the Co-President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received in Dabashan, the Indian Ambassador to Iraq, Prashant Pise.

During the meeting, which was attended by Amin Baba Sheikh and Soran Jamal Taher, members of the PUK Political Bureau, the two sides stressed the need to expand relations and joint coordination in a way that serves their common interests, especially in the fields of economy, education and culture.

Bafel Talabani affirmed the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan's aspiration to build strong brotherly relations on the basis of common interests and stressed PUK's support in this regard.

He also said, "in our mission to build a more prosperous and developed region, we need the support of our friends and need them to be by our side."
