Qubad Talabani: It's time for our athletes, artists, and young inventors to be stars not politicians

On Saturday, Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), and his brother Bafel Talabani, Co-President of the PUK, received the Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sports Adnan Darjal in Slemani.

And Talabani posted on his personal page on the social networking site "Facebook": "I always repeat, it is time for athletes, artists, and creative youth to be stars instead of politicians."

During the meeting, the participants discussed the conditions of youth and sports in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.

Qubad Talabani presented his observations and ideas for developing the sports sector and supporting youth and athletes. 

Both sides decided to launch several public projects in the near future to improve the conditions of youth and develop the sports sector.

"I always say it; it's time for our athletes, artists, and young inventors to be stars not politicians," Qubad Talaban said in a Facebook post.
