Amin added that most of the views of the Parliamentary Education Committee are in with the opening universities for the next academic year.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Nabil Abdul Sahib, revealed discussions with the Ministry of Health regarding the mechanism of working hours in universities in the next academic year.

Abdul Sahib said in a press conference held during his visit to Diyala Governorate on Sunday, that "there are ongoing discussions with the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety and the Iraqi Ministry of Health regarding the working mechanism in the new academic year," noting that "the ministry hopes to return to universities."
