Karukh Salih: The only Kurd at 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo

A Kurdish coach of the Iraqi Olympic Team becomes the only Kurd to participate in the Tokyo Olympic Summer Games scheduled to take place from July 23 to Aug. 8, 2021, in Tokyo.
Karukh Salih, the coach of the Iraqi Olympic Team, is only Kurd to participate the Tokyo Olympics.
Salih is the coach of the Iraqi Danah Hussein, the 200-meter runner of the Iraqi Olympic Team.
Salih said that he has made a complete preparation for his athlete so that she achieves great result at the games.
Salih was born in Erbil city and has been an athlete in the Iraqi team for many years and then he became the coach of the Iraqi team and has trained many athletes who have participated in continental championships.
Last month, coach Salih trained Danah Hussein who later won the 100 meters and 200 meters running race in first place at the Arab Championship and reached the summer Olympics which will start in Japan on 23rd of this month.
The 2020 Summer Olympics was originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020 in Tokyo Japan, but coronavirus concern delayed the event.
