Kurdish fighters leave arms to fight fires
Firefighting teams succeeded in the provinces of Hasaka and Qamishli and with the help of the people to control the fires that swept through the 26 villages of western Kurdistan.
A source familiar with PUKmedia said on Wednesday that the firefighters and the families had finally been able to control the flames that have ravaged large areas in 16 villages in the area of Tal Hamis and 10 villages in Darbasiyah.
He added that the Kurdish authorities carried ISIS terrorists responsible for large fires in northeastern Syria, and also asked the International Coalition to help in the fight against fires.
He stressed that Kurdish fighters have contributed effectively to control the fires, without excluding the outbreak of fires again in western areas of Kurdistan.
