Some Kurdish workers have found the skeletons of dead body, while working in a house in Goptapa village in Kurdistan Region.
“The workers have traced out the skeleton of dead body, while working on my house,” the house owner, Hajji Mohammad said.
The dead body’s bones come out after marking the 22nd anniversary day for chemical attacks in Goptapa village.
The original identity of the dead body still remains elusive in the area, Mohammad said.
The Regional Martyr and Anfal Ministry’s expert team is going to take the exclusive study on the incident.
The village of Goptapa is located 55 km away from western Sulaimaniyah, its population suffered a lot under the chemical attack and mass grave process, known as Anfal process, killed 520 people during the former Baath regime’s rule in Iraq.
