Suicidal Explosion against Checkpoint in Green Zone

Today, a suicidal terrorist blew himself up against a checkpoint controlled by a joint force from the Iraqi Army and the Multinational Forces in the Green Zone in Baghdad. The explosion led to casualties among the Iraqi and US troops, according to Eyewitnesses.
It’s worth mentioning that the Green Zone is highly protected by the Iraqi and the US Forces and includes the headquarters of the Council of the Representatives, the Parliament, the US and British Embassies.
