Speaker of Kurdistan Region Parliament Meets Primakov

Adnan Mufti, the Speaker of Kurdistan Region Parliament, met yesterday Yevgeny Primakov, the President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In a meeting they discussed ways of developing political, economic and commercial relations between Kurdistan Region and Russia. They also exchanged views about the Russian Companies’ participation in the constructional and investment projects in Kurdistan Region.
Primakov expressed his pleasure to visit Kurdistan and the Kurdistan National Assembly. He said:”It’s a pleasure to see all those developments in Erbil, it’s a unique sample particularly because local capabilities were depended on.”
Primakov referred to his historical relations with the Kurdish people he said:”I consider myself as one of the Kurdish people supporter. I’m proud that I had passed this principle to my sons who have great respect to Kurds and Kurdistan.”
