Russia& Kurdistan Region to Establish Commercial Council

Today the Speaker of the Kurdistan Region National Assembly, Adnan Mufti, met with the Head of Russian Chamber of Commerce, Yevgeny Primakov in Erbil. 
Ways of promoting commercial, economic and political relations between the Kurdistan region and Russia were discussed during the meeting.
Mufti briefed Primakov on the investment law in Kurdistan region and the facilitations to foreign investors in the region.
Following the meeting, they held a joint press conference in which they announced a council for improving and promoting economic and commercial ties between the Kurdistan region and Russia will be established.
