KRG Ministry for Labour& Social Affairs Prevents Importing Foreign Workers Illegally

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Ministry for Labour and Social Affairs is setting new plans for prevents importing foreign workers illegally.
The ministry has suspended work permits of three local companies due to importing foreign workers illegally and bad conditions of accommodations.
The ministry has also demanded the related companies that they should deposit $5000 to be permitted to import foreign labour.
Owner of one of the three companies which their work permits has been suspended told PUKmedia that an Iraqi company is importing foreign labours to the administrational territories of the KRG and then abandoning them due to which his company’s work permit has been suspended.
