Genocide Watch is for Establishing Kurdistan State

Today the President of Genocide Watch, Dr. Gregory Stanton, held a press conference at the office of Aso Kurdish daily newspaper in Sulaimani.
He announced that the purpose of his visit to Kurdistan region which is to collect document on the Kurdish genocide, saying that he will hold two conferences in Sulaimani for this purpose. Stanton also said that he will ask the US to protect Kurds so that genocide against them will not be committed against by the future Iraqi governments.
He indicated that the Genocide Watch is for the establishing of the Kurdistan State, saying they will make a documentary film, in cooperation with the Kurds, to internationally recognize the Kurdish genocide when he returns to Washington.
Finally, he said that US should work to stop the Turkish offensives against Kurdistan region.
