PUK Politburo Holds Meeting

Jalal Talabani, the Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) headed yesterday a meeting of the PUK Politburo in Sulaimani.
In the meeting, they discussed the Latest developments in Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the area in addition to developments in Lebanon.
They also discussed the security situation in Iraq and ways of making a success of the political process and establishing security and stability in the Country.
The meeting also shed light on the relations between Kurdistan Regional Government and the Federal Government in Baghdad. They emphasized the need to resort dialogue to solve the unresolved issues between both sides. They also stressed that Kurds used to be and will be part of the solution.
They also discussed ways of seting a program to hold a joint meeting between the PUK and the KDP to solve the KRG issues as soon as possible.
