Karbala’s Police Detains Senior al-Mahdi Army Leader

Major General Raed Shaker Jawdat, Karbala police and operations room commander told PUKmedia website correspondent “today, our forces arrested the commander of private forces in al-Mahdi Army, and another two accused of participation in the attack against the Minister of Interior in al-Basra.”
“After receiving intelligence information, our forces managed to arrest these two criminals after arriving to Karbala coming from al-Basra city. We also detained a policeman charged for working with the private forces”, the General added.
