DTP Delegation Visits Kurdistan Region National Assembly

On Thursday the Speaker of the Kurdistan Region National Assembly, Adnan Mufti, met with a high ranking delegation of the Kurdish parliamentarians inside the Turkish parliament including Democratic Society Party (DTP) parliamentary group chairman Ahmet Turk.
The political conditions in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region as well as ways of promoting bilateral good neighborly political and economic ties among Iraq, Kurdistan Region and Turkey have were discussed during the meeting.  
They emphasized the importance of promoting political and diplomatic struggle to deal with the issues and supporting the democracy and human rights.
Ahmet Turk expressed his delight for the developments in the Kurdistan region and the role of Kurds in democratic and federal Iraq.
Adnan Mufti on his part indicated the key role of Turkey and hoped that good neighborly political and economic ties between Kurdistan Region and Turkey will proceed on the basis of respect, non-interference in both sides’ internal affairs , dialogue ,and mutual understanding.
