Iraqi President Seeks More Cooperation with Hungary

Iraqi President Abdullatif Jamal Rashid expressed that Iraq seeks more cooperation with Hungary with when he received a delegation led by Hungary’s Ambassador to Iraq Atilla Tar at Salam Palace in Baghdad on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
President Rashid stressed the importance of drawing from each other’s expertise and experience in areas such as agriculture, water resources management, tourism, archaeology, and the arts.
Ambassador Atilla Tar reiterated his country's desire to advance relations and further cooperate with Iraq on its drive to reclaim its crucial role in the region.
“Hungary is committed to ensuring Iraq's security and stability,” he said.
